Bobcat Company is a North Dakota-based agricultural and construction equipment manufacturing company. Initially, the company was called Melroe Manufacturing Company, and the name Bobcat was first heard in 1962, as one of the loader models was named.
The company gained popularity mainly due to the first mini-loader, invented almost 50 years ago in the United States for the mechanization of labor-intensive loading and unloading operations on farms.
At Bobcat Company they never forgot that the model of mini-loaders brought worldwide fame to the company. It happened more than half a century ago. Then the victorious procession of equipment from the state of North Dakota around the world began, which gradually reached the USSR by 1977. In 1991, the first dealership was opened in Moscow. Currently, the company belongs to the South Korean concern Doosan Infracore, which added Asian thoroughness and manufacturability to the existing American power and productivity. Bobcat is translated into Russian as "red lynx." Due to the popularity of universal mini-loaders in the USA, Canada, and in almost all European countries, the name is fixed to any small-sized loaders.
Just a few years ago, in 2013, a new line of full-swing small-sized loaders from the Bobcat Company of the 500th series was introduced. The goal of such a step is obvious - to consolidate the leading position in the market of universal wheeled compact loaders. The S530 is intended to replace the popular but slightly outdated S175. It should be noted that the S175 is very widespread, thanks to a set of characteristics that perfectly suit domestic conditions. S530 develops these trends, which is a prerequisite for the fact that it will not only adequately replace the previous model, but will also occupy an even more dominant position in the market.
